Uses:
A natural antibiotic
A powerful de-toxifier
Anti-depressant
Sedative properties are good for treating insomnia
Effective in treating burns, scalds and sunburn when used directly on the skin
Treats allergies, bruises, athlete's foot, boils, dermatitis etc.
Can be massaged onto the throat, nose or chest areas to treat asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, whooping cough, throat infections.
Added to the bath or used with eucalyptus as a steam inhalation for chest conditions
Treats stress & tension, migraines & headaches when used in a cold compress or inhaled in a few drops in hot water
PMT treated by adding lavender to grapeseed oil and massaging into the stomach
Lavender works well as a massage oil for painful joints and muscular aches and pains
It can be used as an insect repellent and to deter moths from clothes.
The list goes on - a really useful essential oil - not to be taken internally. It should be diluted with a base oil such as grapeseed if mixed with other oils.
